About The Artist
Ralph Sutton was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, March 20, 1948. From and early age art was his passion and became the focus of his life.

Upon graduating from Youngstown State University he was asked to teach advanced courses in commercial art and design. He reconstructed and reorganized the teaching curriculum at the age 21.

While attending Youngstown State, Ralph was accepted in the Butler American art Institute midyear show as the only freshman university student to get accepted. the midyear exhibition is one of the top (5) shows held each year throughout the country.

He opened an advertising agency, Kimmelman & Sutton in Ohio in 1973 with his life long friend. They worked together handling local and national accounts throughout the years.

While working in Ohio and the surrounding areas, Ralph exhibited fine art as well as commercial

designs, winning numerous awards and establishing himself as a graphic force.

After vacationing on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina he and his wife fell in love with the ares and decided to relocate. The Suttons made Hilton Head their new home.

Ralph opened a graphic art and advertising agency and as time went by the demand for design work continued to grow, not only on Hilton Head but, throughout the country. From corporate logos, magazine illustrations, building designs, cartoons, caricatures and a continuing diversity of style and techniques.

Hilton Head Island proved to be Ralph Sutton's time to develop and designing many concepts. The 3D process was a challenge from basic idea to what is now a unique form of art. The future of dimentional art is unlimited. Ralph Sutton and his partner, Fred Wynne see the possibilities of this imaginative art form and the impact it will have.
